My goal is to make available a wide variety of plain, basic information about Judaism, written from a traditional perspective.

The information in this site is written predominantly from an Ashkenazi traditional perspective. Be aware however, that many Jews do not follow all of these traditions, or precisely how they are described here. On some pages, I have identified variations in practice or belief in the Orthodox and non-Orthodox movements and Sephardic customs.

The Names of G-d are written throughout this site. If you print any of these pages out, treat them with respect and do not throw them away. If you must get rid of those printed pages please take them to a local synagogue that has a geniza!
